Real Estate Classes
Real Estate Sales Classes
A real estate sales candidate must be eighteen years of age and complete state-approved classes to be eligible for a real estate sales license. The real estate sales course consists of 40 hours of instruction which must be completed before taking the real estate state exam. Prior real estate knowledge is not required to participate in our real estate classes.
Our real estate classes are for those that have never held a salesperson/broker license in Massachusetts. If you have held a real estate sales license in Massachusetts at anytime and have let it lapse you will want to contact the Division of Professional Licensure before registering for classes.
The real estate classes are a lecture series that will provide information on eight different real estate subjects. Our real estate classes are designed to assist you on understanding each subject so that you may successfully pass the real estate state exam. Students are urged to bring a notebook, pen, and highlighter to class to take notes during the lectures. A textbook will also be provided to each student.
Our real estate classes are designed to assist students in passing the real estate state exam but just as one would for any other exam, a student should also study their notes and text on their own time before they take their exam to even further prepare themselves for testing. Once you receive your real estate sales license, it may be used for either residential or commercial property – for sales or rentals. You may hold the real estate license for future use or go to work for a broker.

Class Flexibility & Missed Classes
Our Salesperson course is made up of 8 independent subjects that are 5 hours each to fulfill the 40 hour requirement. Students may take the subjects in any order they wish either during the weekdays or weekends. This flexibility is great for people that have difficult schedules or need to make up a class they missed. Students may mix and match the subjects any way that works for them. Simply sign up for the day you’d like to start and begin from there.
Students who are enrolled in our specially priced Sunday Only classes may only make up missed classes on future Sundays when those classes are being taught. Topics are generally taught once each month, so in most cases you will be able to make up the class you missed within the next 3-6 weeks, taking into account changes in scheduling due to holidays and weather-related cancellations.
- You may receive a full refund minus a $25.00 cancellation fee, if you elect to withdraw from the course before attending a class. Students who have started their course are not eligible for a refund.
- No refund will be issued after 3 months from date of registration.
- Students have 3 months to complete the course.
Course Completion Policy
Students are given 3 months from the date of registration to complete the course. If a student needs more time then we will extend the time out another 3 months at no charge. If the time passed is over six months but within a year the student is charged $150.00 to re-enroll and may choose to complete the topics they have yet to complete or take the course in its entirety ; 1 year up to 2 years the student will be charged $225.00 and complete the course in its entirety; if more than two years has passed the student is required to re-enroll at the current regular tuition rate and complete the course in its entirety.
The Massachusetts Real Estate Exam
After a student completes their pre-license real estate classes, we will provide the education certificate necessary for the real estate exam and the toll-free phone number to schedule an appointment. The student decides when and where to take the real estate state exam. Real estate exam appointments should be made once a student finishes the real estate classes, however the toll free number will not be given out before that time. Students have 2 years from the date you finish your real estate classes to take and pass the state real estate exam.
